Southern Pygmy Squid [Idiosepius notoides]

Description
The Southern Pygmy Squid is native to the waters of southern Australia. The maximum length is about 1.7 cm for males and 1.3 cm for females. They are found in seagrass beds and often attach themselves to seagrass blades. This species display diverse body patterns and can change color rapidly for communication and camouflage. Females lay their eggs on seagrass leaves.
