Hoyle's Enope Squid [Stigmatoteuthis hoylei]

Description
Stigmatoteuthis hoylei, known as Hoyle's Enope Squid, is a member of the Histioteuthidae family. The species is native to the Indian Ocean as well as the western and central Pacific Ocean. These squid are characterized by their elongated, slender bodies and the presence of photophores. Hoyle's Enope Squid are deep-sea creatures and are often found at depths of around 500 to 1000 meters. Their behavior and reproductive habits remain largely unknown due to their deep-sea habitat.
